Dough Machine Pizza & Donuts

Mooroolbark's cult pizza-and-donut shop making the eastern suburbs' lightest, fluffiest dough

A compact takeaway shop with limited indoor waiting space and some outdoor seating. Purpose-built for ordering and collecting rather than dining in. A lively, busy atmosphere on peak nights; the energy comes from the queue and the aroma of fresh dough rather than a designed space.

The dough is house-made and is the defining feature across both pizza and donuts. multiple reviewers independently note its unusual quality. Donuts are made to order and best eaten fresh within the hour. Wide range of pizza toppings with customisation via special requests accepted (fraction splits catered for). Gluten-free pizza bases available. HSP (halal snack pack) on the menu. Milkshakes and churros also available. Online ordering and Uber Eats delivery.

Not applicable. this is an Australian takeaway operation, though the Italian heritage of great pizza dough is evident in the craftsmanship.

Excellent value. generous toppings on pizza, well-priced donuts with premium filling. Some older reviews mention decline and overpricing, but the dominant recent signal (2024-2026) is strong value for money.
